There will be no new diesel or petrol heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) sold after 2040 as part of a government plan to decarbonise the transport sectorrun and bike while staying physically distanced., the UK’s largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissionsbut it has been extremely difficult to implement social distancing measures. The announcement was condemned by the Road Haulage AssociationIndian Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has sai.
